Time & Location: Online sessions over Zoom (Only the introductory and presentation sessions)

News

  • This seminar will be entirely online, over zoom and with limited number of seats for the interested applicants (master/bachelor) at TUM.

  • The first official session of the seminar, for the registered students, will be on 11.10.2021.

  • The presentation sessions are set to be on 29.11.2021 and 30.11.2021. Attendance is mandatory for all the registered students. The students are expected to dedicate enough time to work on their topics, and represent their work during the presentation sessions (dates are listed in below). A final report is expected to be submitted accordingly.

Content

The main focus of this seminar is to study the emotional awareness in the era of autonomous driving. Emotional awareness covers a wide range of domains from in-cabin comfort and well-being of the occupants to the safety of the passengers and pedestrians. Students will study these aspects and recent developments in detail by covering the state-of-the-art publications and will demonstrate the importance and the challenges along with the achievements in scintific and industrial domaions of automotive.

Workflow

In our first session on 11.10.2021 students will form their group (of two members) and we will discuss the available topics. Each group will get assigned to one topic according to their own preference. Groups will collect the necessary materials (state of the art scientific works e.g. scientific publications) within the context of their topic and will perform their research based on the collected resources. Each group will be given 20 minutes on their specified date (are listed in below) to represent the findings, and address the research questions of their own topic. Respectively, they will write and submit a scientific paper (IEEE template) with minimum 6 pages, depicting their findings and the main contribution of their work during seminar.
